Mark Williams
Mark graduated from Murdoch University holding a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (with First Class Honours). Mark was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2011 and the High Court of Australia in 2012.
Now in his fifteenth year of practice, Mark has worked for several boutique and mid-size firm assisting a broad range of clients consisting of individuals, sole traders, small to medium size enterprises to publicly listed companies as well as administrators and receivers and manager of companies. In that time, Mark has gained experience, and is proficient in:
- disputes involving real property, including commercial and residential leases, caveats, land resumption and compensation and sale of land in lieu of partition;
- corporate disputes involving breaches of director’s duties and disputes between shareholders and other stakeholders;
- applications for search and freezing orders, including urgent injunctive relief;
- insolvency matters including advice to directors regarding the potential appointment of administrators, to administrators, regarding deeds of company arrangement and to administrators;
- defending criminal prosecutions instituted under the Building Act 2011 (WA) or Planning and Development Act 2004 (WA) (or similar legislation and regulations);
- the proper administration of trust and faithful execution of a trustee’s duties;
- general debt recovery claims; and
- enforcement of civil judgments.

Voluntary administration:
- advising directors prior to the appointment of voluntary administrators;
